This page explains what happens to your information when you use DripToFreedom. Short version: you can use every calculator without ever creating an account, and nothing about your inputs is sent anywhere in that case. If you do create a free account, we store what's needed to save your settings and let you log back in — covered in detail below, along with how advertising works.
Nothing you type into a calculator — starting balance, contribution amount, goals, anything — is transmitted to or stored on our server unless you're logged in and choose to save it. Without an account, the calculation happens, the page renders the result, and that's the end of it.
To save you retyping your numbers on your next visit, the calculators use your browser's own local storage to remember your last-entered inputs, whether or not you have an account. This data stays on your device — it's never sent to us or anyone else. You can clear it any time through your browser's settings, and using the site works fine even if it's cleared or disabled.
Creating an account is entirely optional and only exists to save your calculator settings across visits instead of relying on browser storage. Signing up, we ask for your email and a password — your password is never stored in readable form, only a one-way scrambled version we can check against but can't reverse. You can optionally add a name, a phone number, and a personal note about what motivates you to invest — none of this is required, and it's only ever shown back to you, on pages only you can see while logged in. Once you're signed in, saving a calculator's settings stores those numbers (balance, contributions, payout rate, and similar) tied to your account, so they load automatically next time.
If you ask to reset your password, we send a one-time link to the email on file — that email isn't logged or stored anywhere beyond what's needed to deliver it. You can edit or delete your saved information, or delete your account entirely, any time from your profile page.
This site displays ads through Google AdSense and uses Google Analytics to understand traffic in general terms — which pages get used, roughly how many visitors there are — not anything that identifies you personally. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies for both, and to measure ad performance. If you're visiting from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent banner (provided by Google) before any of this loads, so you can accept or decline. We don't control what these third parties do with that information — Google's own policy explains it in detail: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Some links on this site (Wealthsimple, Blossom, Buy Me a Coffee) are referral or tip links, clearly labeled as such where they appear. Clicking one takes you to that company's own website, governed by their own privacy policy — we don't receive or see any personal information from what happens after you click through, only whether a referral was credited.
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, account or no account.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new "last updated" date at the top. We don't proactively email account holders about policy changes — checking back occasionally is the best way to stay current.
